Accompanied by big band music and bright sunshine, our energetic trainees introduced children to the world of science under the motto “Science is fun.” Hands-on experiments allowed children to experience science up close and try it out for themselves. Foam mountains, soap slime, and flash-frozen popcorn creatively sparked curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific processes.

The other activities—organized by Haus Ruhrnatur—also fueled the guests' spirit of discovery. Building nesting boxes, tasting local apple varieties, and observing bees in display cases and beehives highlighted the exciting diversity of nature in the Ruhr region.
