From February 10 to 12, 2026, the BMFTR-funded ETOS future cluster will be presenting itself at the E-World Energy & Water trade fair in Essen.
Together with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the ETOS team is working to advance the electrification of technical organic syntheses. ETOS is a unique innovation ecosystem that enables the flexible and efficient use of electrical power for the production of chemical products. The goal: to develop more environmentally friendly and cost-efficient processes that use electricity as a chemical reagent in a sustainable way.
Why you should visit the ETOS booth:
- Learn more about 14 research projects ranging from basic research to industrial applications.
- Meet the players from industry and science who are jointly shaping the future of chemical synthesis.
- Discover how temporary energy surpluses are being used to avoid negative environmental effects and support the energy transition.
The ETOS booth is located in Hall 4, Booth 4G120.
Special offer: Free admission codes are available for visitors. If you are interested, please contact the FOKO team (info(at)cec.mpg.de).
ETOS is more than just a research project. It is a step toward a more sustainable future. Come by and immerse yourself in the world of electrosynthetic innovations!
