Processing of Personal Data by Twitter

Information about which data is processed by Twitter and for which purposes can be found in Twitter's privacy policy: https://twitter.com/en/privacy.

Twitter uses cookies to store and further process this information, i.e. small text files that are stored on the various end devices of the users. If the user has a Twitter profile and is logged in to it, it is also stored and analyzed across devices.

The transfer and further processing of users' personal data in third countries, e.g. the USA, and the associated possible risks for users cannot be ruled out by us as the site operator.

However, the data you enter on Twitter, in particular your username and the content published under your account, will be processed by us insofar as we retweet or reply to your tweets, if applicable, or also compose tweets from us that refer to your account. The data you freely publish and distribute on Twitter is thus included by us in our offer and made available to our followers.

Statistical data

Via "Analytics" of the Twitter page, statistical data of different categories are retrievable for us. These statistics are generated and provided by Twitter. As the operator of the site, we have no influence on the generation and presentation. We cannot turn off this function or prevent the generation and processing of the data.

The following anonymous information is provided to us by Twitter:

  • Followers: number of people who follow our Twitter account.
  • Tweet interactions: all clicks on a tweet (including hashtags, links, avatar, username and tweet extension), retweets, replies, follows and likes
  • Audience insights: aggregated insights on demographics (e.g., household income categories, education, occupation, marital status), lifestyle (e.g., interests), consumer behavior (e.g., buying styles, merchandise purchases), and mobile footprint

Due to the constant development of Twitter, the availability and processing of the data changes, so we refer to the already above-mentioned privacy policy of Twitter for further details on this.

We use this aggregated data to make the contributions and activities on our Twitter page more attractive to users.
