Announcement: Prof. Serena DeBeer invited to the Berlin Physics Colloquium

CEC Director gives talk on May, 3rd in the Berlin Magnus House

Prof. Serena DeBeer is going to hold a lecture at the Berlin Physics Colloquium, on May, 3rd in Berlin.
In her presentation with the title “Breaking Methane – Towards the Economic Utilization of Natural Gas”, she’s going to talk about recent achievements from her research group in understanding the electronic structure of the enzyme methane monooxygenase via X-ray spectroscopy and theory.

The Berlin Physics Colloquium is a joint event of the Berlin Physical Society, the Free University of Berlin, Humboldt University of Berlin, Technical University of Berlin and University of Potsdam and is generously supported by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation. This colloquium series started 20 years ago and was hosting for over the years many excellent scientists, mostly the ones working at German research institutes and universities. We are very happy that Prof. DeBeer is one of them!
