For his extraordinary scientific work in the field of energy relevant catalysis, CEC Director Robert Schlögl was awarded the „Ruhrpreis für Kunst und Wissenschaft“ 2017 (Ruhr-Prize for Art and Science) of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr.

The official award ceremony took place on December 3rd, 2017 in the Sparkasse Mülheim, sponsor of the Ruhrpreis, which carries a value of 3.000€.
