This week the 4th International Symposium on Chemistry for Energy Conversion and Storage takes place at the Max Planck Society's Harnack Haus in Berlin. The conference was organized by CEC and FHI Director Robert Schlögl together with the Dalian National Laboratory for Clean Energy/Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics.

Over four days, the world's most renowned researchers will exchange views on topics related to energy conversion and storage. The main topics are also hydrogen production, CO2 reduction and alternative fuels.

The symposium has been held regularly since 2011 and many of the papers presented have been published in special editions of the journal <link http: onlinelibrary.wiley.com journal _blank external-link-new-window internal link in current>ChemSusChem.
