Energy transition - "What we want and what we can do"

Schlögl gave talk at the Berlin Urania

This week, CEC Director Robert Schlögl gave a compact overview of the possibilities of the energy transition and informed the visitors about myths and misjudgements that are circulating in connection with the energy revolution.

He stated that some targets, such as a complete decarbonisation, were neither possible nor necessary, a 100% supply with renewable energy was hardly achievable, and a simple "electricity transition" was not sufficient to achieve long-term climate protection.

Schlögl took stock of the aims we want to achieve and gave an overview of how successful or worthy of improvement the individual projects currently are.
