Lukas John passed his thesis defense on December 14, 2018 at the University Duisburg-Essen. The dissertation topic is "Computational insights and catalyst syntheses for the electrochemical CO2 reduction". At the end of his IMPRS-RECHARGE program Lukas will give a public lecture entitled “Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction” at the MPI CEC on January 23, 2019, and is thus the first graduate of the IMPRS-RECHARGE.
