This week, the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina issued an ad hoc statement on climate protection: "Climate Targets 2030: Towards a Sustainable Reduction of CO2 Emissions" (German version). The experts, among them CEC Director Robert Schlögl, call for immediate climate protection measures that are socially acceptable and promote innovation.
