Martin Muhler and colleagues publish book "Catalysis at Surfaces" by De Gruyter Verlag.

The advanced textbook on heterogeneous catalysis is recommended for Master and PhD students

The textbook covers the fundamentals and all relevant aspects of catalyst synthesis, characterization and application in suitable reactors. Not only thermocatalysis is covered in detail, but also photocatalysis and electrocatalysis as new areas of the energy transition.

Martin Muhler, Max Planck Fellow at MPI CEC has worked intensively on the publication for 4 years with his colleagues Wolfgang Grünert and Wolfgang Kleist from Ruhr-Universtität Bochum. All three are proud of the work, which "covers everything master students and PhD students should know about heterogeneous catalysis".

The book of about 700 pages is published by De Gruyter in the De Gruyter Textbook series.
