On August 16, the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion took part for the third time in the annual Mülheim company run with more than 120 teams. Together with the neighboring Max Planck Institute for Coal Research, 99 runners started under the team name "Max Planck Institute Mülheim". The joint motto "Research drives us" was taken to heart by the participants, who gave their best on the 5.6 km course. Combining the fun of a shared experience with sport is a priority for many participants: this is how the Mülheim MPI team grows from year to year.
