Artificial Photosynthesis as energy source

Dr. Pantazis gives interview in 'Climatecentral' and 'E&T'

Solar and wind power have one thing in common besides being renewable: When the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing, they don’t generate electricity. But artificial photosynthesis may someday help change that.

On the behalf of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) the american organisation 'Climate Central' and the european journal 'E&T engineering & technology magazine' published interviews regarding a recent progress in artificial photosynthesis.

One interview partner was Dr. Dimitrios Pantazis, group leader at the MPI CEC in the department '<link internal-link internal link in current>Molecular Theory and Spectroscopy' under the direction of Prof. Frank Neese.

The interviews can be read here.
