BMBF funding for "MANGAN"

Kickoff: Joint project "MANGAN" launched

Kickoff-Meeting of the MANGAN Cluster at the MPI CEC

The Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion is a partner in the BMBF-funded joint project "MANGAN".

The aim of the "MANGAN" cluster project is to determine the technical potential of manganese as a catalyst in electrolysis. The cluster connects ten universities and four research institutions, so that leading experts from various disciplines work together alongside the Max Planck Society. At the beginning of July this year, the project started with a successful kick-off meeting at the MPI CEC.

The contact person for the project at the MPI CEC is Dr. Sebastian Neugebauer, postdoc in Prof. Robert Schlögl's department "Heterogeneous Reaction".
