The annual conference, organized by the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Foundation, that brings together Nobel laureates, young researchers, and experts from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in chemistry. This gives up-and-coming researchers with the opportunity to learn from the experience of leading experts within their field, gain valuable insights into the latest research trends and build relationships that can last a lifetime.
"I was amazed by the diversity of topics and the passion of the speakers," said Carla Marie Stork. "The meeting was a great reminder of the importance of interdisciplinary research and the impact it can have on society."
Carla Marie Stork was one of the great minds speaking at the meeting. Her talk “Riding the green route: sustainable ways of hydrogen isotope exchange reactions” was part of the Next Gen Science Session: Sustainability by and in Chemistry, where 36 of the 600 young scientists were chosen to present their research.
John Carl Camayang added, "The opportunity to meet and interact with Nobel laureates was truly inspiring. Their stories and experiences showed me that even the most complex problems can be tackled with creativity and perseverance."
Vishrant Kumar reflected on the meeting's focus on science beyond the borders and communication of science as a global challenge. "It was fascinating to see how the delegates from different fields have this concern and are working together to develop concrete solutions for a better future."
