MPI CEC Director Prof. Schlögl was recently appointed as member of the High-Tech-Forum by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The Forum’s task is it to support the implementation and development of the so-called <link http: www.bmbf.de pub hts_broschuere_engl_bf.pdf _blank external-link-new-window external link in new>High-Tech-Strategy. This strategy aims to strengthen inovation in Germany and thus lead to a higher standard of living and prosperity. Above all, it aims to foster the translation of ideas and research results into applied, innovative products and services. The High-Tech- Strategy sets the frame for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation and promotes the dialogue with the public

Prof. Schlögl will support the High-Tech-Forum with his own ideas and initiatives and function as chief adviser for the research field Energy.
