Within the initaitve „Energiesysteme der Zukunft“, a project of some of the biggest research institutes, a coordinationgroup was formed that shall promote the composite work "Energiewende" and expedite the research agenda.

In the last meeting on 28th of August in 2014 this coordination group elected <link internal link in current>Prof. Robert Schlögl, director at the MPI CEC, their chairman.

The aim of the association of the big research organisations, among them the ‚<link http: www.leopoldina.org en home _top external-link-new-window external link in new>Nationale Akademie der Wissenschaften Leopoldina’, the ‚<link http: www.acatech.de uk _top external-link-new-window external link in new>National Academy of Science and Engineering acatech’ and the ‚<link http: www.akademienunion.de english.html _top external-link-new-window external link in new>Union of the german academies of sciences and humanities’, is a common advance within the energy revolution. Topics like sustainability and financeability are as important as pension security and social acceptance of the processes.

Dr. Georg Schütte, Deputy State Secretary in the <link http: www.bmbf.de en index.php _top external-link-new-window external link in new>Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Bonn, congratulates Prof. Schlögl and thanks him, also on behalf of the Federal Minister Johanna Wanka, for his enormous commitment and honours his personal way of pushing the constructive cooperation between all Parites.
