Prof. Neese among most cited scientists

This year, Prof. Frank Neese, Director at MPI CEC, has been selected as „Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers“. In total, the company which also owns the databases Researcher ID or ORCID, listet 3.125 scientists (430 chemists) from all over the world as „highly cited“ of the year 2015. Only 25 German chemists made it into this list. 8 out of these 25 work at Max Planck Institutes. (If you take the area „materials science“ into account, 31 German scientists are listed, among them 13 from Max Planck Institutes.) The Directors of the MPI für Kohlenforschung, Prof. List and Prof. Fürstner, are listed as well.
